       Wuhai Lvbang Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is a state-owned environmental protection enterprise controlled by Inner Mongolia Environmental Protection Investment Group Co., Ltd. It specializes in the centralized resource utilization of coking desulfurization waste liquid and primarily promotes the development of the environmental protection industry in Wuhai and surrounding areas.

       The company was established on March 15, 2021, with a registered capital of 60 million yuan. The first phase of the project, with an investment of 226 million yuan, covers an area of 130 acres. The project can utilize 132,000 tons/year of coking desulfurization waste liquid for resource recovery, producing 15,000 tons/year of sodium thiocyanate, 15,000 tons/year of by-product ammonium sulfate, and 15,000 tons/year of ammonia water. The product, sodium thiocyanate, is widely used in the fields of medicine, pesticides, construction, cement, etc., with a promising market prospect; the by-product ammonium sulfate is a common chemical raw material and fertilizer; ammonia water can be used to manufacture ammonium salts, aminating agents, catalysts, and fertilizers.

       The project is a hazardous waste resource recovery and disposal initiative that receives desulfurization waste liquid from coking enterprises across the city for resource utilization. It effectively addresses the regulatory challenges faced by ecological and environmental departments as well as the disposal pain points for enterprises. The patented technology employed in the project for desulfurization waste liquid disposal produces products that can reach the grade of industrial-grade superior products. The evaporated water, after water treatment, meets the standards for reclaimed water reuse. The resource recovery and utilization of hazardous waste turn waste into treasure, thereby facilitating the iterative upgrading of the coking industry in Wuhai City.

       As an enterprise engaged in the centralized resource recovery disposal of hazardous waste desulfurization waste liquid within the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it was listed as a key construction project in Wuhai City in 2022. It fills the gap in the disposal of coking desulfurization waste liquid in Wuhai and surrounding areas, which not only greatly reduces the environmental risk hazards of the coking industry in Wuhai and surrounding areas, but also helps local enterprises reduce operating costs, reduce wastewater emissions from coking enterprises, and reduce regional environmental pollution. It is of great significance for promoting high-quality development of the industry and enhancing the comprehensive utilization of hazardous waste in Wuhai and surrounding areas.

       The company always adheres to the new era water management philosophy of "prioritizing water conservation, achieving spatial balance, implementing systematic governance, and exerting efforts from both hands" in Wuhai City as its guide. It implements the strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, and accelerates the promotion of economical and intensive utilization of water resources in the Yellow River Basin. The project adopts advanced water treatment processes. All the concentrated water from the system, after purification through water treatment, yields treated water that meets the standards for reclaimed water reuse. This treated water can be used for internal recycling within the production system, as well as for circulating water replenishment, boiler water replenishment, and plant greening in the factory area.

       It can effectively promote the conservation and intensive utilization of water resources in ecologically fragile areas of the Yellow River Basin. It is also of great significance for protecting the ecological environment of the Yellow River Basin, addressing the issue of water scarcity, and promoting high-quality economic and social development in the region.
